GROUPS COUNSELING AND ITS PROCESS
Group counseling sessions are very effective in the sense that they provide the following benefits: We can learn from the experiences of others A chance to meet with the people having experiences similar to ours. In less time bigger problems can be solved. An opportunity to exchange variety of ideas.
A group can ideally consist of six to eight members at one time. Usually in a group session a particular topic about the interest of all the participants is explored and dealt with. Like the individual counseling, the confidentiality of all the participants is highly respected. The main focus is always on the topic of the group session.
